So There’s That (“So There’s That,” “we,” “us,” or “the Company”) is a creative media and editorial brand producing original written, audio, visual, and multimedia content across multiple platforms.

This policy governs privacy practices, intellectual property rights, and dispute-resolution procedures applicable to all current and future So There’s That properties, including but not limited to websites, newsletters, subscription platforms, social media, live events, and derivative formats.

1. Scope of This Policy

This policy applies to:

  • all content published under the So There’s That name or branding

  • all present and future distribution channels

  • all contributors, collaborators, and third-party partners

  • all readers, subscribers, licensees, and media professionals

Platform-specific privacy practices (e.g., Substack, hosting providers, ticketing platforms) may also apply and are governed by their respective terms.

2. Information Collection & Use

So There’s That collects only the information necessary to operate, communicate, and distribute its content.

Personal information may include:

  • email addresses for subscriptions or communications

  • names or contact details voluntarily submitted

  • business or press inquiries

So There’s That does not sell or monetize personal data and uses collected information solely for editorial, operational, or legal purposes consistent with this policy.

3. Intellectual Property Ownership

All original content created, published, or distributed by So There’s That is protected intellectual property under U.S. and international copyright law, regardless of format or medium.

Protected content includes, without limitation:

  • analytical frameworks, narrative structures, and thematic framing

  • distinctive metaphors, language, and editorial voice

  • audio, video, visual, or multimedia adaptations

Ownership attaches upon creation, whether or not the work is registered.

4. Use, Licensing, and Restrictions

No portion of So There’s That content may be:

  • reproduced

  • redistributed

  • paraphrased beyond fair use

  • adapted into derivative works

  • republished or monetized

without express written permission.

Fair use does not include systematic paraphrase, structural imitation, or competitive substitution, even where facts or subject matter overlap.

5. Notice to Journalists, Publishers, and Media Professionals

So There’s That supports ethical journalism and critical discourse. However, repeated thematic convergence, mirrored analytical structure, close paraphrase, or derivative framing following access to So There’s That content may be treated as evidence of infringement.

Attribution alone does not cure unauthorized use of protected expression.

6. Copyright Infringement Claims (Against So There’s That)

If you believe So There’s That has infringed upon your copyright, you must submit a complete, good-faith written notice containing all legally required elements.

Required Information

Your submission must include:

Incomplete or unsupported claims may not be reviewed.

7. Enforcement of So There’s That Rights

So There’s That actively monitors for unauthorized use of its content and reserves the right to pursue all available remedies, including:

  • informal resolution requests

  • cease and desist notices

  • DMCA takedown procedures

  • legal action or arbitration

The choice of remedy rests solely with So There’s That.

8. Good-Faith Resolution Preference

So There’s That prefers to resolve disputes efficiently and professionally when properly documented claims are submitted. This preference does not waive any rights or remedies.

9. Reservation of Rights
