AMC’s Fearfest 2025 Begins
Spooky Season 2025 is among us as AMC and AMC+ kicks off its month long programming of over 650 hours of terror, screams, and nightmares! This annual event features old favorites that feeds the nostalgia of classic slasher horror franchises, new series, horror specials and more across the cable network as well as the streaming platform.
Award winning artist and horror movie connoisseur Janelle Monáe returns as the official network host of “HalloQueen,” where she will be featured on all social media platforms sharing her love and knowledge of the beloved genre. Monáe has also curated a list of her favorite horrors and thrillers in a special AMC+ collection for all horror lovers, and newbs, to stream together as one big unholy family. Some of her favorites include The Birds, Carrie (1976), Child’s Play (1988), Halloween (1978), Jeepers Creepers, Late Night with the Devil, Leprechaun, The Others, Psycho, Rear Window, The Rule of Jenny Pen, Speak No Evil, Vertigo and so much more.
Fearfest highlights the monsters in us all, featuring our favorites like A Nightmare on Elm Street, Halloween, Final Destination, and works from the horror king himself Stephen King like IT and The Shining. In addition to horror classics, October is filled with television series that scratch that thriller itch with The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon, currently airing on Sundays at 9/8c, and its upcoming thriller in the Anne Rice Immortal Universe—Talamasca: The Secret Order, premiering Sunday October 26, 9/8c.
