Peacock’s ‘M.I.A’ Trailer Explodes Onto the Scene
Shannon Gisela leads this technicolor revenge series and she’s out for blood
From the creators of Ozark comes a dark and thrilling drama, M.I.A., which premieres Thursday, May 7 on Peacock.
The 9-episode series stars Shannon Gisela, Cary Elwes, Danay Garcia, Brittany Adebumola, Dylan Jackson, Alberto Guerra, Maurice Compte, Gerardo Celasco, and Marta Milans.

From the trailer, M.I.A follows a young woman, Etta (Gisela), on the path of war and revenge after an organization eliminated her entire family. Washed ashore, she is found and awakens with only bloodlust in her veins.
The visuals pull us into the neon lights of the ever bustling city of Miami and the energy of the music matches the explosions and the passions that are promised.

Not very often is a crime drama centered around a young woman on a solo mission to avenge her family. But as Etta says in the trailer,
“I’m not just any girl.”
The trailer promises to deliver an action packed crime dense series that’s draped in both the extravagance and the horrors of one of the greatest cities in America.
With the killers of her family on the loose, and her intense training in order to be ready for them when they find her, Etta must employ all of her strength, wit, and cunning intelligence in order to seek the blood spill she so desperately craves.
