‘Wife Swap: The Real Housewives Edition’ Premiere Takes Angie Katsanevas from Birkins to Barnyards
Wife Swap: The Real Housewives Edition is a new series on Bravo that premieres tonight, October 21, at 9pm/8c. This series features four Real Housewives from across the franchise who swap their lives for three days with the lives of everyday mothers. During these swaps, the group of women will get to step into the shoes of one another—challenging their preconceived notions and breaking stereotypes about how people choose to live their lives.
“Overdressed and Underprepared”
Angie Katsanevas kicks off the first episode as she exchanges lives with wife Lindsay Flakes, a farmer and homesteader whose family now lives off-grid. This episode will challenge not only Angie and Lindsay but also their families who may not always appreciate what they have until it’s gone. The big question on everyone’s minds—as audiences watch their favorite housewives go through this social experiment—is if Lindsay will be able to successfully teach Angie to value nature over luxury. Conversely, will Angie teach Lindsay that some luxuries are worth having? Over the course of three days, these women will be challenged both mentally and emotionally as their lifestyles and comfort are tested in the designer heels and cowboy boots of one another.
The remaining three episodes will star Real Housewives of New Jersey’s Melissa Gorga (prides herself on strong family values and extreme organization), Orange County’s Emily Simpson (modern marriage with hands-on dad), and Potomac’s Dr. Wendy Osefo (prioritizes strict rules, schedules, and education). Due to recent legal troubles the original premiere date of October 14, featuring Dr. Wendy Osefo, was moved. Dr. Osefo’s episode is now slated air on Sunday, November 9, at 9/8c.
